Gas work in the UK is restricted to Gas Safe registered engineers. Electrical work in dwellings may be notifiable under Building Regulations Part P. Unvented hot water work over 15 litres is notifiable. Refrigerant circuit work requires F-gas Category I competence. Medical gas pipeline work requires AP-MGPS oversight. By using this app you acknowledge these constraints and agree to operate only within your own competence and registration.
The AI tutor and photo diagnosis features call the Anthropic Claude API. AI responses are generated automatically and may contain errors, omissions, or out-of-date information. You must not rely on AI output as the basis for any safety-critical decision.
If you supply your own Anthropic API key, you are responsible for the costs incurred against your account, for keeping that key secure, and for revoking it if it is compromised. The publisher is not responsible for any charges or misuse arising from your key.
You agree not to use the app to perform any activity that breaches UK law or the Acceptable Use Policy of the Anthropic API. You agree not to upload images containing personal data of others without permission.
If you use the customer database, job log, quotes or service reminders to store information about your customers, you are the data controller for that information. PipeSmart is the data processor that runs locally on your device. You are responsible for complying with UK GDPR obligations when handling third-party personal data — including obtaining consent where required, honouring access and deletion requests, and keeping the device secure.
The app and its content are protected by copyright. You may use the app for your own training and field reference. You may not copy or redistribute the lessons, simulations or other content commercially without written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, the publisher excludes all liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this app. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
These terms may be updated as the app evolves. Continued use after a notified update constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be heard in the courts of England and Wales.
